In large shopping centers, retailers and restaurants are usually responsible for the background music themselves. The boundaries of the shops are usually located directly along the aisles of the center. Cafés with seating have to contend with the challenge that customers who sit close to the aisle are affected by the center's atmosphere. Guests who sit with their backs to the aisle have an uncomfortable feeling. The result: They don't come back.
We test the effect of the HDSX box. Result: Customers sitting at the edge of the shop, who are positioned directly in the aisle, no longer perceive the atmosphere in the corridor. With the consistently loud music from the café, they are included in the café and the background is faded out. Another positive effect: the ceiling noise from the ventilation and air conditioning systems located close to the aisle is neutralized. With the HDSX box, the music is perceived better, while disturbing noises and atmospheres are softened and neutralized.
