With London Drugs, the audio company from northern Germany is expanding its dealer network across the Atlantic for the first time and has gained an innovative trading partner in the traditional Canadian company for its small device for consistent television sound.
Fluctuating volume levels and incomprehensible dialogues when watching TV and streaming are not only a challenge in Germany or Europe, the problem is familiar to TV viewers all over the world. In Canada, London Drugs is now starting to sell the HDSX TV Sound Optimizer. The almost 100-year-old company with over 80 branches and around 8,000 employees is based in Richmond, British Columbia and sells products ranging from medicines to consumer electronics both in stores and online.
For Kronoton, this is another milestone that proves that the sound solutions developed in Schleswig-Holstein solve problems known worldwide in the audio sector.
"We are delighted that London Drugs is adding the HDSX TV Sound Optimizer to its range. It shows that the desire for harmonized volume and understandable dialogue also exists in Canadian living rooms," says Gunnar Kron, Managing Director and Chief Developer at Kronoton. "Canada is a very technically open-minded country and London Drugs is always a first mover when it comes to new products. This cooperation is therefore an excellent fit, because Kronoton with its audio brand HDSX - High Definition Sound Expansion is providing the new freedom of sound from Germany."
“We are always on the cutting edge and look around the world for innovations that make our customers' lives easier. The HDSX TV Sound Optimizer is a real innovation that addresses a well-known, everyday problem. We are pleased to be able to offer a solution that makes our customers' TV viewing experience even more enjoyable,” said Chris Gibson, TECH Merchandise Manager at London Drugs.
The HDSX TV Sound Optimizer has been available in Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland since 2021.
